About the role
Platin Gaming is seeking an experienced Senior Slot Game Developer to join our creative team in Malta. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality HTML5 slot games using PixiJS and TypeScript that entertain millions of players worldwide.
As a senior member of our game development team, you will work closely with game designers, artists, and backend engineers to create innovative slot mechanics, exciting bonus features, and visually stunning game experiences. Your work will directly impact our B2B clients across Europe and beyond.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop HTML5 slot games using PixiJS and TypeScript
- Implement complex game mechanics, bonus features, and mathematical models
- Optimize game performance for mobile and desktop platforms
- Collaborate with game designers to bring creative concepts to life
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Work with backend team to integrate game APIs and RNG systems
- Ensure games meet regulatory compliance standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HTML5 game development
- Expert knowledge of PixiJS, WebGL, and canvas rendering
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills
- Experience with slot game mechanics and math models
- Understanding of RNG, RTP, and volatility concepts
- Experience with Git, webpack, and modern development tools
- Portfolio of published HTML5 games
- Excellent problem-solving and optimization skills
