About the role
Join our finance team as a Senior Accountant managing day-to-day accounting operations. You'll handle financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with Malta accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Process payroll and expense claims
- Handle VAT returns and tax submissions
- Support budget preparation and analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Implement accounting procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- ACCA qualification or working towards
- Strong knowledge of Malta tax law
- Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Gaming industry experience a plus
- Good communication skills
