About the role
As a Game Designer at Platin Gaming, you'll be responsible for creating innovative slot game concepts, mechanics, and features that captivate players across global markets. You'll work at the intersection of creativity and mathematics, designing games that are both entertaining and commercially successful.
Your role involves creating game design documents, defining math models, working with artists and developers, and ensuring each game delivers an exceptional player experience while meeting business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive game design documents for slot games
- Design game mechanics, bonus features, and player progression systems
- Define mathematical models including RTP, volatility, and paytables
- Collaborate with artists to create visual themes and assets
- Work with developers to implement game features
- Conduct playtesting and gather feedback
- Analyze player data and game performance metrics
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor games
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in game design, preferably in slots/casino games
- Strong understanding of slot game mathematics and mechanics
- Experience creating game design documents and specifications
- Knowledge of player psychology and engagement techniques
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, Figma, or similar
- Creative thinking combined with analytical skills
- Portfolio of designed games (preferably published)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
