Manage our production databases handling millions of gaming transactions. You'll ensure database performance, reliability, security, and implement best practices for our PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
Responsibilities
- Manage production databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Optimize database performance and queries
- Implement backup and recovery procedures
- Monitor database health and capacity
- Handle database migrations and upgrades
- Implement security and access controls
- Work with developers on schema design
- Troubleshoot database issues
Requirements
- 6+ years of database administration experience
- Expert in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
- Strong SQL and query optimization skills
- Experience with database replication and clustering
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery
- Scripting skills for automation
- Understanding of high-availability architectures
- Gaming or high-transaction environment experience
